The KingCut models are unfortunately very special cutters, and can be difficult to get working initially.
Due to their special design, they can' t be used with Mac OS X.
To get started, make sure you have the latest drivers and firmware installed. First download the USB-drivers and unpack on your harddisk, then download the firmware file and update the firmware in the machine by using the software included in the archive.

KingCut Firmware V2.11 (NOTE: DO NOT UPGRADE IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A NEWER FIRMWARE)
When firmware has been upgraded, turn off the power, and power on again, now the computer should ask about new USB-drivers. If it doesn't then you probably already had the V2.11 firmware installed.
So, now the plotter is correctly setup.
To Setup SignCut-X2 properly for Windows, do the following:
1. First install the special KingCut USB-drivers for SignCut-X2, located here , download and install it and follow any instructions that are shown. When finished you must reboot the computer.
2. Start SignCut-X2.
3. Now open SignCut-X2, click on the Cutter-button to open that dialogue.
4. Select manufacturer "Creation HK".
5. And then choose your model, now the rest of the parameters should be greyed out. Click Ok to close
6. You should now be ready to cut.
