Quickly repair an old sign

Sometimes you will need to repair a previously made sign. If you don't have the original size
of the sign, there is a feature in SignCut-X2 that helps you out, so you don't need to measure
the whole old sign (which can be hard if parts has been scratched or falled apart).

Please open the file "SmartPanels.sc" which is located in the Examples-folder under
the SignCut-X2 folder.

Once the image is opened in SignCut-X2, it will look something like this:

Now click on the "Create tiles" button to rebuild the automatic tiles which will delete the current tiles.

Now let's pretend you have made a previous sign which has lost a few characters, so you want to repair that sign
To do that, choose the measurement tool:

Now click on a character, or drag a box over the character(s) you want to know the size of. If you drag a box
over it, the box will snap around the closest objects inside the box. Once you have something selected you will
Notice that the measuring frame-panel is activated:

In my case, i have selected the "m" character. Now you see the current size in the measuring frame-panel.
If you now measure the "m" character on the old sign you want to repair, you can enter that value in the
measuring frame-panel and click Enter. (Note you only need to measure the height or width, as SignCut-X2 scales
the other value proportionally.

Now when setting the new size in the measuring frame-panel and clicking enter, the whole sign will be scaled to
the correct size:

Quick and easy restoration to the original size.
