WELCOME TO SIGNCUT-X2
SignCut-X2 is the most efficient and flexible vinyl cutting software existing today.
Perfectly adapted to your vinyl plotter and improves the ability of it considerably.
Note that SignCut-X2 is much more than a simple printer driver, amazingly powerful,
supporting the whole manufacturing process, saving alot of time & material.
SignCut-X2 is a completely up to date software, compatible with all versions of
CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator and new OS:es as Windows XP, Windows Vista and
Mac OS-X.
SIGNCUT-X2 MODES
SignCut-X2 runs either in LE-mode (Limited Edition) or PE-mode (Power Edition),
that offers most benefits and makes SignCut-X2 extremely powerful. Activation of
the PE-mode is therefore strongly recommended!
In order to do that, the computer has to be connected to the Internet, or a
USB-dongle (hardware lock) should be used.
EXTENSION OF THE PE-MODE
SignCut-X2 always comes with a license including a limited time subscription for
the PE-mode. PE-mode expiration date is found in the About dialogue.
When PE-mode has or is close to expire you can re-activate it instantly by making
a credit card payment via the Internet.
The subscription fee is very affordable.
REQUIREMENTS
PC: Windows 2000, XP or Vista.
MAC: OS X 10.3.9 or higher.
Without Internet connection or dongle, you can only use the limited
SignCut-X2 Test-mode. The limitation is a maximum sign size of 100 x 100 mm, but
it should be enough for testing purposes.
WHY SUBSCRIPTION?
Main benefits with subscription:
- Low initial cost.
- No extra upgrade cost
- No extra support cost
The only drawback connected to a subscription, it is that the computer has to
be connected to Internet most of the time. However, SignCut-X2 is able to
keep the PE-mode during atleast two week even though the computer is disconnected
from the Internet.
PERSONAL WEB-SUPPORT
SignCut-X2 is always delivered with at a minimum of one-week subscription for
the PE-mode and therewith ability to get personal WEB-support during that period.
Support is found on http://www.sc-x2.com, click on "Customer Login". Enter your email and
your license and click "Login".
If the PE-mode expires you loose access to the personal WEB-support. The support
that remains thereafter will be the FAQ, once a new subscription period is purchase
the support will be activated again.
IMPORTANT TO REGISTER!
If you received your license from a dealer or bundled with a plotter, it is important
to register the license to get email-reminders before the PE-mode expires, you can
find that option on our website.
SWITCHING COMPUTERS
It is allowed to move the software between computers. Five transfers of the
license is allowed during a subscription period.
Tip: To get another 5 transfers, purchase an additional month of subscription.
However you should only use a license on one computer and only transfer due to
harddisk crash or computer change. If you use more than one computer for cutting
you should get an extra license instead.
SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENT
Payment of the PE-mode subscription can be done via the Internet. You can either
use a credit card or through a bank-transfer. By credit card-payment, the license
is extended instantly.
By bank-payment, the license will be extended as soon as the payment is
received by us. It is recommended to do bank-payments at least two weeks before
expiration date!
A third option may be to purchase the subscription extension through your dealer.
