Plotter Setup

Before trying to get things working, determine the following:

  • Decide what interface to use, and make sure to use the correct cables.
  • Check what baudrate the cutter is setup to use. (Default is 38400)
  • Make sure the machine is powered on and in online-mode.
If you are using the USB-port on the cutter, you need to install the driver for it. You can find the driver on the supplied CD. For using the machine on a Mac, you need a USB to serial adapter, we recommend Keyspan.
