Plotter Setup


Perform these steps before setting up SignCut-X2:

  • Install the USB-driver included on the CD with the machine.
  • Setup the machine, connect all cables once the USB-driver has been installed.
  • Check that the cutting-head is not against any of the red- buttons.
  • Make sure the machine is powered on and in online-mode.
Now you are ready to go to setup SignCut-X2, click the tab for your operating system above.

SignCut-X2 Windows Setup


To setup SignCut-X2 for your machine, follow these steps:
  • Open SignCut-X2.
  • Click on the Cutter- button to open that dialogue.
  • In the Manufacturer list, choose "USCutter".
  • In the Cutter list, choose the model you have.
  • In the Device list, choose your virtual COM-port.
  • There is an option to calibrate your cutter, do NOT click there before first cut.
  • Now click Ok to close the dialogue.
  • Now you are ready to start cutting.

SignCut-X2 Mac Setup


To setup SignCut-X2 for your machine, follow these steps:
  • Open SignCut-X2.
  • Click on the Cutter- button to open that dialogue.
  • In the Manufacturer list, choose "USCutter".
  • In the Cutter list, choose the model you have.
  • In the Device list, choose the device that begins with "/dev/cu". If it is missing, then you need to install the driver for your machine.
  • There is an option to calibrate your cutter, do NOT click there before first cut.
  • Now click Ok to close the dialogue.
  • Now you are ready to start cutting.
